Woof woof woof. Woof woof woof. Whimper. Woof woof woof. Whimper. Woof woof woof.
Hooowl. Rowr. Siiigh.
Translated from Dog:
Darn it, I’m not comfy in this bed. Maybe if I stretch this way. Hmm nope. Maybe this way. Almost. One more stretch.
Awww yeah. That’s it, that’s the spot. Nooow I’m comfy.

Today feels like a day to be lazy. Ahhh…

Streaks of sun,
form black & white lines.
Is he in jail,
for chewing Mommy’s Kleins?
Or just resting up,
Recharging with the sun.
Being an energetic pup,
It can be tiring having fun!

Back home, we never let Mocha on the furniture. He abides by those rules faithfully.
When we’re out and about, we don’t let him on the furniture either. He abides similarly.
But this weekend, we decided to spoil him a bit. We let him climb onto the hotel bed. And joy of joys, he loved it. He nestled right between us and fell asleep straight away. It was like having a furry, stinky baby next to us.

Fortunately, he didn’t pick up this habit. Once back home, he didn’t even try to get on our bed.
Good boy! I hope you enjoyed this little splurge!

Whine whine whine. Woof woof. Woof woof woof. Bark bark bark bark bark bark! Sigh!
Translated from Dog:
Aw, c’mon Daddy. It’s late. I know you’re a night owl and all. But turn off the lights and go to sleep already! Sheesh!

We just got Mocha a donut dog bed
as an early holiday present and he hasn’t been out of it since. Well, he’s been out to poop, pee, eat, and play, but that’s about it.
We’re glad to see you like your present, boy!

Yesterday’s post made me a little sad. Mocha has been frustrating. He scares our friends and neighbors. His 2AM barks disrupt our sleep. Exercise doesn’t seem to be helping. It has definitely been frustrating.

But for all that we are frustrated with him, we are also very thankful for him. I’ve seen other dogs that are a handful and a half. Mocha has lots of great points. So here is a list of why we are thankful for Mocha:

I have a dog hammock for the back seat of my car. On long road trips, sometimes Mocha likes to rest his head on the edge to try to be as close as he can to Mommy and Daddy. It’s like he’s saying, “What are you guys doing? Can I see?” But then he closes his eyes and falls asleep in that position, just like you see here. Poor tired little guy.

After a fun romp with Melvin & Cabbie, Mocha tuckered out onto the beanbag chair – dreaming happy dreams of fun romps with Melvin & Cabbie, no doubt.

This just in: Mocha & Cabbie slumber after an epic battle of gigantic proportions, the likes of which haven’t been witnessed since Tyson and Holyfield, sans the ear chomp.
In doggie terms, that means they played, wrestled, and got dog tired.
