Mocha seems to have discovered a new habit: digging. Never did it before. Just kinda spontaneously started doing it.
Maybe it came from having a bad influence in white-and-black, a fellow Jack Russell terrier.
Or maybe it’s an effort to cool off. ‘Cuz once he digs a hole, he plops down into it with a big ole’ goofy grin. We’ll have to clean him when we get home, but it’s hard to get mad at a smile like that. Awww.
We left Mocha at Melvin & Cabbie’s house for the next few days while we headed out of town. My friend took this photo of Mocha sitting by his laptop, asking where we were. hehe.
We’re leaving Mocha at Melvin & Cabbie’s house for the next few days while we head out of town. He doesn’t seem to mind too much. He loves to wrestle with Melvin & Cabbie. Especially Cabbie (pictured here).
Though it was a bit sad to leave him. Mocha started whimpering as soon as we approached the door. We could hear him as we walked back to our car too. Hopefully he won’t be as sad once he starts playing with his friends.
Oh boy, what fun! Daddy took me to the dog park today. I made a new friend – a German Shepard puppy. He was such a puff of fur that I wanted to chase and dominate him. heh.
My new friend likes to roll around in the mud as much as I do. Oh boy! It was a hot day and the mud was so cool & refreshing. How could we not resist? Daddy didn’t seem to like that though.
Then my new friend jumped into… the water! Gasp. There was a doggie pool at the dog park. I don’t think I like the water. But this water was different. It wasn’t loud and scary and cold and coming at me really fast. It was cool & refreshing, like the mud. What fun!
I wonder if the water at the dog beach is just as cool & refreshing? Hmmm. Maybe next time I’ll try to play in it too.
P.S. What a bummer, I didn’t get a chance to take any pics of Mocha in the doggie pool. But I got him playing with some other dogs. Check out the goofy face on that brown fellah. hehe.
Mocha’s got a girlfriend! Mocha’s got a girlfriend!
Over at the dog park today, Mocha couldn’t get enough of this gray female mutt named Princess. They were running all around the park together. Sometimes he’d chase other. Other times, she’d chase him. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my camera with me, so I have no pics of the bitch.
Oh boy oh boy oh boy! I made some new friends today! Daddy took me on a doggie play date, where I made two new friends: Melvin & Cabbie. Both of them are rescues too, just like me. And they’re bigger than me.
They love to wrestle and play, just as much as I do. Especially Cabbie. Boy he’s a lot of fun!
But you know what? I still dominated. Oh yea, that’s right I did. Booyah!
